WORKSHOPS | Farmacy AgBag Workshop

Overview

Become a uFarmer! A workshop with artist/engineer/activist/experimenter extraordinaire, Natalie Jeremijenko to create your very own AgBag.

Learn about xClinic’s Farmacy, a distributed urban farm aimed at encouraging urban food production, diversifying food systems and improving environmental health. Then construct your own Jeremijenko-designed durable, efficient AgBag, and fill it with uFoods. The uFoods are curated and cultivated for their extremely high nutrition value (including the colorful alpha-carotenes, polyphenols and micronutrients that equip an urban body cope with the assault of urban pollutants).

We will point out the strange and wonderful incentives to transform your railing, window, parapet, fence or formerly unproductive spaces into thriving uFarms (urban farm). We can step u through the phenological diagram for each the planting scheme

We need U to participate in this exploratory research, because one of the critical components of a participatory socioecological system is how well does participation work; how to capture the incredible resource of many intelligent observations, from many diverse humans. We have some ideas we would like to run by u.

The exploration of how we can collectively produce a viable urban agriculture begins…
